At Peace

Being human,
is it not natural
to envision a future?

I greet the day
we all have enough love inside*,
we walk as a gentle breeze
flowing in and out of doors
along pathways inextricably connected,
unable to comprehend separation.
Unheard of – alienation,

each of us enlightened,
at peace with the paradox
of a worldly body that is
also infinite spirit,
at peace with the paradox
of individuality that is
inseparable from the whole.

I have a quote tacked-up on the bulletin board above the desk.
Before the desk I sit, speaking to my Dragon.
Upon the white screen of the computer monitor,
words appear like magic.

“What you are
the world is
and without your transformation
there can be no transformation of the
world.” *

Recently, I’ve been leaning into the first part of the quote,
the part that sets the stage –
“What you are, the world is.”
I adore the intention in pretending (living as if) each moment is timeless.
The future is now. I’ll live my life loving, as if we all have enough love inside.
Every day I’ll play (practice), and may the play become reality.

I
let go
and become
in-stilled with loving kindness
